Shambhala Miksang International
Workshops / Teacher Training
The Miksang teachings are now being presented at
other Shambhala Centers and institutions. We have
developed a weekend workshop format for the three
levels of Miksang training. The workshops are conducted
by Miksang and AbsoluteEye teacher John McQuade.
Introductory workshops (Level I) can be conducted by
certified Miksang instructors. The total cost to the
Centers or institutions for the weekend program:
expenses (travel) and $300 honorarium for John/ $150

Miksang/AbsoluteEye Teacher Training
We have developed a Miksang teacher training program for those interested in becoming Miksang instructors and teachers. One must be a Miksang practitioner and have taken Miksang workshops or courses with John McQuade or Michael Wood. Although, as a Miksang instructor, you do not have to be a formal member of Shambhala. For example, Miksang Instructor Maxine Sidran is not a formal member of Shambhala. Miksang is associated with Shambhala/Nalanda International.

This program trains and certifies Miksang Level I (introductory) teachers.
As a Miksang Instructor, you become a member of the Miksang International Teachers Council and are responsible for Miksang teaching and activity in your area. For more information contact John McQuade.
