Miksang came into my life in 2011, becoming a deeper pathway of seeing rooted in purity, simplicity, and the contemplative essence around me. My connection with Miksang also resonated deeply with a personal path I had already begun. Since my adolescence, I have been drawn to Buddhism and meditation, studying them in a self-taught way. That early exploration of mindfulness and contemplative practice laid the ground for the strong bond I felt when I first discovered Miksang—it was as if both journeys naturally converged.

First I studied by my own through books, then with teachers. In 2016, I began learning online with Luis Ochandorena, and later I continued with courses guided by Miriam Hall and John McQuade (2017, 2020). Each step deepened my relationship with presence and the contemplative act of seeing.
For me, Miksang is more than photography, it is an invitation to open the heart, to dwell fully in the present, and to rediscover the beauty that quietly surrounds us. One of my purposes is to share and spread this vision to the world, so that others may also experience the wonder of seeing freshly in an overstimulated world of images.
